המנוח היה תושב שוויץ, ידיד האוניברסיטה, תרם להפעלת המכון הלאומי לביוטכנולוגיה בנגב, דוקטור לפילוסופיה לאות כבוד של האוניברסיטה וחתן אות מפעל חיים.
Ben Gurion University of the Negev, Prof. Rivka Carmi, President, Alexander m. Goren, Chairman of the Board of Governors, Prof. Zvi HaCohen, Rector, mourn his passing and extend their condolences to his family.
The deceased was friend of the University, contributed to the National Institute for Biotechnology in the Negev, Doctor of Philosophy Honoris causa of the University and recipient of its Lifetime Achievement Award.
