Yeshiva University, Rabbi Dr. Ari Berman, President, Moshael J. Straus, Chairman, Yeshva University Board of Trustees and the Canadian Friends of Yeshiva University mourn his passing and extend their condolences to his wife Frances, his children: Marc, Wendy, Lisa and Cheri, his sister Lil Faider and the entire Belzberg family.
The deceased was of Vancouver, Canada, a recipient of the Order of Canada and a recipient of an honorary doctorate of Yeshiva University in Toronto in 2010. He was th founding Chairman of the Simon Wiesenthal Center in Los Angeles and a founding chairman of the Dystonia Medical Research Foundation.
